#NODAPL

Beginning in the Spring of 2016, protesters from across the globe gathered to stand with the Native American tribes defending the land and protecting the water from the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL). The Standing Rock Indian Reservation housed thousands of people at a time, gathering peacefully to demand a halt in construction of a pipeline riddled with environmental and ethical violations.

These images were captured over a weekend in the fall of 2016 in Cannonball, North Dakota near Sacred Stone Camp.
